HOW TO OBTAIN THE EUROPEAN CERTIFICATE OF INTEGRATIVE PSYCHOTHERAPIST (ECIP)
THE ROMANIAN ASSOCIATION OF INTEGRATIVE PSYCHOTHERAPY (ARPI) HAS BEEN ACCREDITED since 2007 by the EUROPEAN ASSOCIATION OF INTEGRATIVE PSYCHOTHERAPY (E.A.I.P.), which allows access to the European Certificate of Integrative Psychotherapist for ALL ARPI STUDENTS.
Based on this certificate YOU CAN PRACTICE and thus, open your own practice, EVERYWHERE IN THE EUROPEAN UNION.
Moreover, the ECIP certificate represents a recognition of professional competencies at the European level, being an important step in the career of any psychotherapist.
To be eligible, during the 4 years (2 basic training and 2 supervision) you need to go through the following steps:
- 2 years of Basic Training
- 2 years of Supervision
- Residential Camps – 3 camps (in 4 years)
- Participation in Conferences/Scientific Events within ARPI – 40 hours
- Min. 20 individual therapy sessions with an ARPI Psychotherapist (during basic training)
- Clinical Practice (Hours with Clients in the office during the 2 years of supervision) – 400 hours
The obtaining of the ECIP certificate is based on the DOCUMENT BY WHICH Dr. Gina CHIRIAC, the president of ARPI, certifies for EAIP your participation in ARPI courses and the obtaining of credits.
FIRST STEP: Formulate a request to the ARPI secretariat asking for the ARPI recommendation for EAIP.
STEP 2: Pay a fee of 75 euros, directly into the EAIP account listed in the recommendation issued by ARPI.
STEP 3: Submit the file for obtaining the European Certificate. This is submitted to the EAIP secretariat, at the email address andra@euroaip.eu.
It must contain:
- The recommendation from ARPI
- Proof of payment of the fee
- Diploma obtained after completing the basic training courses in integrative psychotherapy
- Diploma obtained after completing supervision
