SPECIALIZATION IN CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS PSYCHOTHERAPY (FOR PSYCHOLOGISTS AND PSYCHOTHERAPISTS)

The modules take place on Fridays and Saturdays, and the camp will be according to the calendar that will be communicated at the beginning of the specialization.

Why pursue the Specialization in child and adolescent psychotherapy at ARPI?

Graduates of the specialization course obtain a Certificate of free practice (certificate of Integrative Psychology (CPR) and European Certificate of psychotherapist in child and adolescent therapy, issued by the European Interdisciplinary Association for Therapy with Child and Young People (EIATCYP).

Enrolled psychologists and psychotherapists will study practical working techniques and methods in child psychotherapy, methods of active emotional intelligence for children, as well as elements of neuroscience so that therapists can learn how children's brains function when they are under stress, conflict, anxiety, and then what intervention techniques to apply to bring the little clients into a state of calm and cooperation.

The specialization has an integrative, relational specificity and there will be specific diagnostic and intervention methods.

Throughout the specialization, behavioral techniques, relational techniques, guided imagery, hypnotherapy for children and adolescents, mindfulness for children and adolescents, and psycho-somato-therapy in working with children and adolescents are taught.
